LITTLE ROCK – The 76th annual Arkansas Farm Family of the Year program has announced its 2023 County Farm Families of the Year. Since 1947, the Arkansas Farm Family of the Year program has helped to recognize outstanding farm families throughout the state.
The Yellville-Summit FBLA Chapter is raising funds to send four students to the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Atlanta in June. At the State Leadership Conference, sophomore Elizabeth Smith placed 3rd in Public Speaking while juniors, Gracie Beaty, KJ Moore, and Kyleigh Still, placed 3rd in Sales Presentation. Placing in these events means they earned spots to compete at the national level.

Charles E. Robertson of Marble Falls passed away quietly at his home on May 5, 2023, with his daughter by his side.
Agnes Loraine Dunlap, age 90, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at The Springs of Creekside Health & Rehabilitation Center. Agnes was born March 18, 1933, near Otto, North Carolina. She was the widow of Blair Dunlap.
