Flippin Boot Collection
The firefighters from the City of Flippin met on Saturday, June 2, to take up a collection and gather donations by taking the firefighters boot to collect as much in donations from area residents passing through the intersection at 1st Street and Main Street in Flippin.
Hamlet at Twin Lakes Playhouse
MOUNTAIN HOME - Twin Lakes Playhouse presents its third production of the season with an abridged version of William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet.” Opening last Friday night, June 2, Hamlet is often referred to as the greatest play ever written and it has it all: suspense, intrigue, romance, dark comedy, a haunting, and, at its core, a breathtakingly poignant exploration of grief and the human heart.

The North Central Arkansas Area Team with Operation Christmas Child is having a Pasta Palooza team Meet/ Greet at The Reach Center in Mountain Home, Saturday, July 8, 2023, from Noon-2 p.m. This event is open to the public and all those interested in hearing more about Operation Christmas Child are encouraged to stop by for a casual lunch and fellowship.

Free Prevention Conference
A free Drug Prevention Conference has been scheduled for July 25, at the Signature Bank Community Room located at 303 North Main Street, Harrison. The objective is to instruct how to prevent substance use or misuse in our communities.

Lions Rodeo coming June 9-10
The wait is over! The 65th annual Calico Rock Lions Club Rodeo is coming to town on the weekend of Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10. The event, sponsored by the Lions and conducted by Rand Rodeo Company, will be held in the Tip Wiseman Rodeo Arena in Earl King Park located off Hwy 56 in Calico Rock.
