Shayla Stowe, grade 8 from Flippin Middle School won 3rd Place in the Preserve the Past Art Contest. The contest is open to all Arkansas 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Submissions must be related to a historic Arkansas property that is 50 years old or older. The contest was sponsored by the Arkansas Preservation Historical Program. Shalya’s artwork will be on display at the Historic Arkansas Museum in Little Rock throughout June.
Given the cancellation of the Planning and Zoning meeting by the mayor of Bull Shoals for unknown reasons on May 24, clarification is needed regarding the position of the Bull Shoals Planning and Zoning Commission.
