BH Auxiliary fundraiser

Baxter Health Auxiliary will hold a 2-day fundraiser. There will be blankets, quilts, comforters, hooded and sherpa throws, 7-piece comforter sets in all sizes and colors. Bamboo memory foam, ultimate cooling and side sleeper pillows will also be available.

Winnifred Lea (Wood) Honeycutt, 87, of Lead Hill. Winnie was born on March 25, 1938, passed away on September 7, 2025, at her home. She was the third of six children, born to Charles Henrey Wood and Ethel Elizabeth (Marshall) Wood. Winnie was born in Bend, Oregon, but was raised in the vicinity around Yakima, Washington.

Tommie McBee of Springfield

Tommie Sue McBee of Springfield, Missouri, passed from this world on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Tommie Sue was born to William Herbert and Bitha Galloway McBee of Flippin, Arkansas on February 9, 1948. She is survived by her only child, Tony Carl Jones of Springfield; grandsons: Jonathan Jones (Kira) of Mountain Home and Jeremy Jones of Flippin; great grandchildren Jazzalin, Isaiah and Hunter and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by one brother, Carl Wayne McBee, Sr. (RaLenn) of Flippin, and her lifelong friends, Judy Williams Briggs and Anita Hill Osburn of Flippin. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Herbert and Bitha; a half-sister McBee, who passed in infancy; brothers: William Agert McBee and William Silas McBee; sisters: Willie McBee Richter, Connie McBee Mattox, Illa Joy McBee Parks, Maxine McBee Curran and Marlene McBee Climer; stepsisters: Anna Davis McCoy, Mary Del Davis Briggs, Reola Davis Johnson and Lonine Davis Britt. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, at 10:00 a.m. at Flippin Cemetery.
