Interact had an International Potluck to promote international understanding within Flippin High School. Six dishes from six third-world countries were presented by Interact members to students and teachers. Participants voted on their favorite dishes; Pakistan came in first, Uganda in second, and Haiti in third. All proceeds from the event go to Akhuwat, a charity that alleviates poverty in economically marginalized Pakistani families through interest-free microfinance and financial education. Reanell Birrer The Gamma Eta Chapter of the Arkansas State Organization of Delta Kappa Gamma held its monthly meeting on April 3, 2025. The organization is an international professional honorary society for women educators. We initiated three new members: Debra St. Clair from YS school, Sherri Shelton, retired from YS school, and Brandy Craighead from YS school.
