In a week that the nation lost several notable people, John Madden and Dan Reeves died sending the National Football League, the National Football Hall of Fame and fans everywhere into mourning. John Madden was a legendary football coach for the Oakland Raiders in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.

NFL Mourns Coach Reeves

On January 1, 2022, Daniel Edward Reeves died at age 77. Dan Reeves was a legendary football coach in the NFL for 23 years from 1981-2003. Reeves coached the Denver Broncos, New York Giants and the Atlanta Falcons as a head coach. He coached for the Dallas Cowboys in 1972 and 1974-1980.
