VIP Expands in Yellville

Volt Industrial Plastics announced a 36,000 square foot expansion on January 8, 2022, during the groundbreaking press conference at VIP in Yellville. The expansion will boost local economy, improve square footage and bring new jobs to the area.

YCC handles 1st of year matters

The Yellville City Council, along with Mayor Shawn Lane, worked diligently at its first meeting of the year to cover certain matters effecting the city throughout the year. First to be accepted by council members Lorna Goodwin, Vickie Fogerty, Layton Lee and Clark Gustin was the adoption of the rules and procedures for each meeting, stating meetings would continue the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m.

Pond Ducks, New Memories

What happened to the ducks this fall? Well, we had far too little water here in the lower Midwest, but the big problem was the lack of water in northern breeding grounds of Canada and the Dakotas. Way less than normal in the spring and summer.
