BULL SHOALS — The Mountain Echo identified new public records and recent statements by city officials have raised significant questions about Bull Shoals’ handling of federal and state payroll tax filings, late penalties, and the city’s refusal to identify a private donor who paid more than $4,300 in IRS penalties on the city’s behalf.

Distinguished Alumnus L. Villines Returns to NAC in Workforce Role
HARRISON – North Arkansas College has announced the selection of Lewis Villines as its new Vice President for Technical Education and Workforce Development, a role that will focus on serving local workforce needs while expanding training programs and strengthening partnerships with school districts and employers across the region and the state. Villines will begin his new position on April 6, 2026.
