James was born September 8, 1937, in Nail, Arkansas to Wilburn and Vera Hughs Clayborn. He had been a resident of the area since 1975 and was Baptist by faith. He was a veteran of the National Guard. Mr. Clayborn enjoyed landscaping, hiking, camping and fishing. He loved his grandkids and family and being outdoors.
