Craig Barnes of Marshall

We are sad to announce the passing of Craig Allan Barnes of Marshall Arkansas. He was born in Wyandotte, Michigan in 1940, to Arnold and Dorothy (Cannon) Barnes. He passed peacefully at his favorite place in the world – his beloved home on Bear Creek in Marshall, Arkansas.

He was passionate about woodworking and playing music. He loved good food, good drink, and a good time. He lived a long, happy, free life in the home he built with his own hands and lots of help from his many friends.

He is survived by son and daughterin-law, Doyle and Amanda Barnes of Leslie; daughter and son in law Tara and Keith Farlow of Fayetteville; and favorite people – grandchildren: Keara, Knox, Kinsley Farlow, and Daisy Purcell; longtime companion Mary Ryan; her daughter and son in law, Laura and Dino Purcell; sister & brother-in-law Gloria and Tom Schonfeld of Southgate, Michigan and their extended family.

His family plans to say their goodbyes in a private ceremony.

Care entrusted to Diamond State Funerals.
