Gregg L. Alexander, Sheriff On April 11, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Marion County deputies were dispatched to the Welcome Ridge boat launch area in northern Marion County because local residents located the body of an unidentified white female, floating just offshore in Bull Shoals Lake.

Scholarships are now available for eligible Arkansas students through Arkansas Community Foundation. The Community Foundation’s scholarships are for Arkansas students pursuing education at twoor four-year colleges or universities, vocational schools or technical training programs.

LITTLE ROCK – The U.S. Department of Agriculture(USDA) recently announced that it is now accepting applications from agricultural producers for enrollment in a special Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) signup.

For the week ending 4/12, Deputies responded to sixty-two (62) calls for service. Of those, Deputies provided six (6) wellness checks and worked two (2) domestic disturbances. There was one (1) felony arrest, and three (3) misdemeanor arrests made this week.
