Ken Forman Honored

Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) Educator Ken Forman was named the first “Honorary Master Naturalist” by North Central Arkansas Master Naturalists (NCAMN) in early May. Forman has been Educator/Interpreter at AGFC’s Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center for 12 years. He has taught numerous classes on a wide variety of nature topics for NCAMN members over the years and created many volunteer opportunities for them, including “Wild Wednesdays” summer programs for families. “Ken has made a significant contribution to our organization for many years,” says NCAMN President Paula Caprio. “We created this

PFPD Annual Pancake Breakfast

It’s that time again! The Peel Fire Protection District Annual Pancake Breakfast is Saturday, April 27, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the main fire house at 7820 Hwy 125 NW in Peel.
