The Flippin Church of God will be having a Good Friday Service April 15, 2022, starting at 7:00 p.m. Come enjoy a night of worship and fellowship.
MC Court Annex Building will be closed on Tuesday
There will be testing of newly installed generator in the annex building on Tuesday, April 12th. Also, some electrical upgrade work and rewiring will be done for breaker boxes.

James A. Gaston Butterfly Garden
If you have not been to the White River State Park Visitors Center and walked through the James A. Gaston Butterfly Garden, you are missing out on one of the beautiful gardens maintained by Marion County Master Gardeners. The garden was originally established in 2007, with a $5,000 grant from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Project WILD. The grant was awarded to a combination of agencies including Crooked Creek Conservation District, Arkansas State Parks, and Marion County Master Gardeners for a Butterfly Garden to teach youth of all ages about wildlife, conservation and the environment.
Huckabee Sanders visits Yellville
Sarah Huckabee Sanders visited Marion County on Tuesday, April 5, around 5:30 p.m. to rally support for her campaign to become the next Governor of the State of Arkansas. Huckabee Sanders addressed a crowd of approximately 300 people to a crowd in the parking lot outside of Black Sheep BBQ restaurant.

Washington – U.S. Senator John Boozman (R- AR) recognized the service and sacrifice of Flippin veteran Elesha Granniss in ‘Salute to Veterans,’ a series recognizing the military service of Arkansans.
