Washington, DC— Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) released the following statement after the House passed a short-term funding extension: “Legislating by continuing resolution is far from responsible, but it keeps the government running. Finally devoid of poison pills and a product of bipartisan consensus, this stopgap continues funding levels secured by the previous administration.

The Slow Down, Phone Down campaign will deploy increased ASP and AHP patrols in work zones to watch for dangerous driving.
