Active Man Hunt Under Way in Arkansas
Convicted Rapist Escapes from East Arkansas Prison Authorities are searching for a convicted rapist who escaped an east Arkansas prison. Samuel Hartman, 38, escaped Friday morning from the East Arkansas Regional Unit in Brickeys, 96 miles east of Little Rock, the state Department of Corrections said.

Average gasoline prices in Arkansas have fallen 14.0 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.43/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 1,826 stations in Arkansas. Prices in Arkansas are 70.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 57.7 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has declined 14.8 cents in the last week and stands at $5.27 per gallon.
