Fayetteville — Desa Rae West, APRN, is now providing care for patients with heart rhythm abnormalities at Washington Regional Cardiovascular Clinic, part of the Walker Heart Institute. Before transitioning to her new role as an advanced practice provider, West served as an electrophysiology nurse in the Cardiovascular Clinic since 2022 and has five years of previous experience as a charge nurse and preceptor in Washington Regional Medical Center’s cardiac progressive unit.

Hundreds of high school students play basketball in Arkansas each year. The ages vary because of the grade level of the students but each player wants to score as many points as possible and lead their team in scoring or to the state title.

FLIPPIN - Recently, new mayor, Heith Hogan sat down to discuss the election, the city workers, and his view for the City of Flippin moving forward. Mayor Hogan started by expressing a genuine gratitude and appreciation for the voters of Flippin for entrusting the City of Flippin in his care.

The Ozark Mountain Bears traveled to Hector High School to face the Mansfield Tigers in the opening round of the 2A West Regional Basketball Tournament. Mansfield won the opening tip to start the game and led most of the first period.
