The Marion County Fair begins Tuesday, September 12 and will conclude Saturday, September 16 at the Marion County Fairgrounds. School Day is Thursday, September 14, at 9 a.m.

August 18, 2023, at the Bull Shoals Theater of the Arts, The Flippin/Cotter Band will take the stage from 7 to 9 p.m. This is a free event.

August 21, Alan Holder will turn 70. Monte Wood will turn 70 on August 31.

The Marion County Airport Board meeting for August is scheduled for Monday, August 21 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the airport.
