The process was long and daunting, but the library found the person they wanted and hired Kasi Casteel-Manes to be the head librarian.

By Gregg L. Alexander, Sheriff On July 10, 2025, deputies were dispatched to a fire scene at a residence located on MC Road 145 in the Oakland area. On arrival deputies requested assistance from Investigators who subsequently responded to the scene to begin their investigation.
