Heritage Society receives a Gift

The Marion County Nursing Home Auxiliary has presented the Marion County Arkansas Heritage Society with a $2000.00 donation to purchase a fireproof file cabinet. The fireproof cabinet has been a need for the Heritage Society for many years and will be used to store photos, Bibles, diaries, and other irreplaceable documents.

fWashington – U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR), a senior member of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, highlighted passage of a pair of legislative initiatives he championed to modernize Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) breast cancer screening policies and the delivery of lifesaving care for women veterans. The Senate unanimously advanced the Boozman-led measures in March.

Yellville – Marion County 4-H has partnered with Animal Clinic of the Ozarks to offer the 2022 Low-Cost Rabies Clinic at various locations in the county. The fee for the rabies vaccination is $12 per animal.
