Compassionate Friends to meet

Mountain Home- “The Compassionate Friends of the Twin Lakes Area has resumed support group meetings and will meet Thursday evening January 6, 2022 from 6pm-8pm in the lower level of the Hospice of the Ozarks Administration building at 811 Burnett Drive in Mountain Home. This support group meets the first Thursday of every month and is for parents, grandparents and siblings who have experienced the death of a child, grandchild or sibling. All Covid measures will be observed, and masks are required to attend. Family and friends are more than welcomed to attend as we begin this new year - please join us.

Marion County QC realigns the Library Board

On Tuesday, December 14, the Marion County Quorum Court met at 5 p.m. to discuss the Library Board, the resigning Marion County Collector and bonus pay for county offices at the Marion County Courthouse. Attending the meeting was Justices; Mike Scrima, Claudia Brigham, Wesley Shipman, Rick White, Joyce McCalla, Talon Vancuren, Marty Nickels, Brady Madden, James Underwood, and Judge, John Massey.
