Yellville- Should agricultural land be used for wind and solar farms? This question will be the focus of the National Agricultural Law Center’s webinar, “Wind and Solar Farms in Farm Country: Addressing Land Use Conflicts” on January 19, at noon Eastern Standard Time/11 a.m. Central Standard Time.

Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 will hold its monthly all-u-can-eat fried fish and shrimp dinner this coming Friday, January 7 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Guests may order fried fish, fried shrimp or a combination plate which also includes hushpuppies, French fries, coleslaw, vegetable, roll, dessert and a beverage.

Mountain Home- “The Compassionate Friends of the Twin Lakes Area has resumed support group meetings and will meet Thursday evening January 6, 2022 from 6pm-8pm in the lower level of the Hospice of the Ozarks Administration building at 811 Burnett Drive in Mountain Home. This support group meets the first Thursday of every month and is for parents, grandparents and siblings who have experienced the death of a child, grandchild or sibling. All Covid measures will be observed, and masks are required to attend. Family and friends are more than welcomed to attend as we begin this new year - please join us.
