Rutledge Wins at Supreme Court: Victory Over OSHA Vaccine Mandate

Little Rock- Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge issued a statement following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to stay the vaccine mandate issued by The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) which required businesses with over 100 employees to mandate vaccines for all employees. This mandate was scheduled to go into effect, January 10, 2022.

Feral Hogs

Feral pigs are widely considered to be the most destructive invasive species in the United States. They can do remarkable damage to the ecosystem, wrecking crops and hunting animals like birds and amphibians to near extinction. “Generally, an invasive species is detrimental to one crop, or are introduced into waterways and hurt the fish,” said Dale Nolte, manager of the feral swine program at the Department of Agriculture. “But feral swine are destructive across the board and impact all sectors.”

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) joined Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Mike Braun (R-IN) and congressional Republicans in filing an amicus brief with the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) regarding today’s case considering the Biden Administration’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) vaccine mandate.

YCC handles 1st of year matters

The Yellville City Council, along with Mayor Shawn Lane, worked diligently at its first meeting of the year to cover certain matters effecting the city throughout the year. First to be accepted by council members Lorna Goodwin, Vickie Fogerty, Layton Lee and Clark Gustin was the adoption of the rules and procedures for each meeting, stating meetings would continue the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m.
