David has worked in the transportation industry for 25 years, with 20 of those in Harrison at FedEx Freight. He was recently promoted to the position of Vice President of Safety Compliance for Yellow and is actively involved with industry associations at both the state and national level.

The CALL in Marion County was the most recent recipient of a donation from ‘NKahootz Boutique in Flippin.The CALL (Children of Arkansas Loved for a Lifetime) recruits, trains and supports foster and adoptive families in Marion County. The money received will go toward those efforts.

On Tuesday, March 15, an interlocal meeting was held at the Yellville City Hall to discuss the police contracts between Marion County and the cities of Summit and Yellville at 5:30 p.m. Shawn Lane, Yellville Mayor, Clinton Evans, MC Sheriff, Rick White, Justice of the Peace, Melissa Dorsey, City of Yellville, Karen Carter, MC Judge’s Office and Ken Rigby, Yellville City Council were in attendance for the meeting. Absent was John Massey, MC Judge was sick, and Tobey Norberg, Summit Mayor for City Council meeting.
