Mountain Home, AR– Bob Lowery, former district court judge and Baxter County Justice of the Peace, announced he is suspending his candidacy for the open seat of District Judge for the Tenth Judicial District, which covers all of Baxter and Marion counties. He released the following statement:

The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith will launch its annual UAFS Day of Giving Thursday, April 28, 2022, with fifteen campus initiatives working toward a combined goal of more than $55,000. The annual one-day crowdfunding campaign is an all-out, all hands-on deck, fundraising blitz aimed at supporting scholarships, student experiences, and academic endeavors that make the UAFS campus vibrant and unique and happens at UAFS.
