Crenchaw Mem Sq. CAP commissioning

Little Rock - The United States Air Force auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol, has approved a new squadron named in honor of an Arkansas native and an original Tuskegee Airman, Dr. Milton Pitts Crenchaw, at Little Rock School District’s Cloverdale Middle School. Crenchaw Memorial Squadron will also be Civil Air Patrol’s first school-based squadron in Arkansas.

AGFF Announces Honorees

– The Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation (AGFF) today announced its 2023 Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame inductees and the recipients of its Legacy Award and the Steve Smith Spirit of Giving Award. Honorees will be officially recognized during the Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame Banquet, slated for Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.

Arkansas Weekly Gas Price Update

Average gasoline prices in Arkansas have fallen 7.0 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.10/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 1,826 stations in Arkansas. Prices in Arkansas are 5.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 80.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 6.3 cents in the last week and stands at $4.01 per gallon. According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Arkansas was priced at $1.00/g yesterday while the most expensive was $3.99/g, a difference of $2.99/g. The lowest price in the state yesterday was $1.00/g while the highest was $3.99/g, a difference of $2.99/g. The national average price of gasoline has fallen 7.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.50/g today. The national average is down 7.5 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 80.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
