Wednesday, May 3, Flippin Middle School held a Chess Tournament and had lots of fun. 39 contestants participated in a tournament consisting of grades 5-8.
The Yellville-Summit FBLA Chapter is raising funds to send four students to the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Atlanta in June. At the State Leadership Conference, sophomore Elizabeth Smith placed 3rd in Public Speaking while juniors, Gracie Beaty, KJ Moore, and Kyleigh Still, placed 3rd in Sales Presentation. Placing in these events means they earned spots to compete at the national level.
