The Norbert O. Schedler Honors College has selected 80 incoming first-year students as its newest class of Schedler Honors College Scholars and 40 incoming first-year students for its Schedler Honors Program. KateLynn Bogle of Valley Springs was selected for the Schedler Honors College.

LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas REALTORS Association (ARA) has pledged to provide $2 million in recovery funds to those impacted by the May 26 tornadoes. Through its nonprofit, Hearts & Homes of Arkansas, the ARA will offer up to $2,000 in disaster assistance per residence for housing-related costs, such as rent and mortgage payments. Since late May, Hearts & Homes has partnered with the REALTORS Relief Foundation to distribute $1.4 million in funding.

Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander announced Investigator Silas Gibson recently graduated from the 25th Session of the Crime Scene Technician Certificate Program (CSTCP) of the Criminal Justice Institute, a division of the University of Arkansas system.
