Baxter Health Auxiliary will hold a 2-day Fundraiser Tuesday, October 29, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. and Wednesday, October 30, 7 a.m.3 p.m. in the Lagerborg Dining Room at Baxter Health.

EROS - Heather Knapp, the librarian at Ozark Mountain School, purchased books for the elementary students at the Bruno-Pyatt campus with memorial funds donated by Mr. Jimmy Joe Sasser. Mr. Sasser worked as an educator for almost 40 years of his life. He was the principal at the Bruno-Pyatt School for many years and loved teaching, playing music and singing with all the children.
Known as the “Whittling Fiddler,” the “Stradivarius of the Ozarks,” or more simply, the “Fiddle Maker,” Violet Brumley Hensley, a fiddle maker and musician most of her life, was designated as the 2004 Arkansas Living Treasure by the Arkansas Arts Council.
