LITTLE ROCK – Attorney General Tim Griffin today honored law enforcement officers from across Arkansas at the 2025 Officer of the Year Awards luncheon. At the conclusion of the event, Griffin issued the following statement: “The men and women we honored today are true heroes, and it is my distinct honor to recognize them for their outstanding service to their communities. These officers have distinguished themselves in the past year for their excellence and dedication. But this event isn’t just a celebration of their accomplishments, it’s also a celebration of all law enforcement officers and a way for us to say thank you to those who keep us safe each and every day.”
By Reanell Birrer The Gamma Eta women’s teacher group ushered in the holiday season with a festive Christmas party and dinner, held on December 4, at the Yellville Methodist Church. The annual gathering, which also served as a charitable drive, was a resounding success thanks to the spirit and generosity of its members.
Hayden Martin is a 2025 graduate of Harrison High School and is a current member of the Northark Men’s Basketball Program. He is #22. He is a freshman. He is a 6’2” 20 lb. guard/forward. Hayden is an excellent student.
The Cotter Bridge is lit up in Blue in the photo below which also shows other decorations at the park in Cotter. The Christmas candle, blue and white lights and other features stand out in the night light reflecting off of the water to form a beautiful display.
