ACHI board proposes ‘Day of Reflection and Healing’

Little Rock- Over the past two years, Arkansas has felt the impact of the pandemic in many ways. To date, more than 11,000 Arkansans have died because of COVID-19. Community and faith leaders have an opportunity now to help Arkansans process the traumas and human losses we have experienced during the pandemic, the board of the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement said Thursday.

Huckabee Sanders visits Yellville

Sarah Huckabee Sanders visited Marion County on Tuesday, April 5, around 5:30 p.m. to rally support for her campaign to become the next Governor of the State of Arkansas. Huckabee Sanders addressed a crowd of approximately 300 people to a crowd in the parking lot outside of Black Sheep BBQ restaurant.

ARDOT to Host Media Event Showcasing Lower Emissions Trucks Purchased with SAFER Grant Funds

LITTLE ROCK - Members of the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and the Arkansas Department of Energy & Environment (E&E) will gather for a media event at 10 a.m. Friday, April 8 at ARDOT’s Equipment and Procurement building to showcase the new, lower emissions trucks purchased using State Agency Fleet Emissions Reduction (SAFER) Grant funding.

During Covid19, new business’ found things tough. The City of Flippin, as well as other cities, saw new small businesses spring up to help people with their needs in different ways. The internet was a way that many residents in NCA (North Central Arkansas) shopped because the transmission rate was drastically reduced.
