Little Rock - Daron Frederick has been named Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas. He joined the cooperatives in 2013. Frederick replaces current CIO Robert McClanahan who has had a 42-year tenure with Arkansas’ electric cooperatives.

Twin Lakes Playhouse kicks off the 2023 season with its production of The Diary of Anne Frank opening this Friday, January 13. The poignant drama, based on true events, tells the story of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic in Amsterdam, Holland, during World War II.

Joe entered the United States Navy at the age of 17. Joe served fourteen months of sea duty. During which time he was on the aircraft carrier USS Bon Homme Richard CVA 31 which was involved with the protection of the Islands of Quemoy and Matsu in the Taiwan Straits in 1957-58. His duty was to fuel the aircraft. Those were hairy times, yet Mainland China was not yet strong enough to challenge us.
