On the third week of the 2023 Regular Session, the House passed legislation that could impact everything from car tags to the start of the school year. HB1150 which would extend the period Arkansans have to register a vehicle.

Prices in Arkansas are 36.0 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 16.1 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 5.4 cents in the last week and stands at $4.65 per gallon.

The PNC Bank survey found that women business owner (WBO) expectations for their own companies remain strong, with 41 percent feeling highly optimistic -- up from 29 percent in the fall of 2020 but down from 67 percent in the fall of 2021 -- while the share of those feeling pessimistic has held constant at just 1 percent.
