For many, celebratory drinks and St. Patrick’s Day go together like corn beef and cabbage. To help keep roadways safe throughout the State this St. Patrick’s Day, Arkansas law enforcement officers are teaming up with the U.S.

MOUNTAIN VIEW – The Ozark Folk Center State Park will host a Craft Village spring cleanup event on Wednesday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

MOUNTAIN HOME - The women of Mountain Home Moose Lodge, in recognition of St. Patrick’s Day, will hold a corned beef and cabbage dinner fundraiser on Friday, March 17, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.

The Friends of the Marion County Library will host a book, bake and yard sale on Friday and Saturday, March 17 and 18. Friday, the sale will begin at 9 a.m.

The Marion County Airport Board will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, March 20, at 6 p.m. at the airport.

MOUNTAIN HOME – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mountain Home Project Office would like to remind visitors that many of their parks and day use areas have transitioned to automated fee collection machines.

MOUNTAIN VIEW – The Next Generation Concert returns to the Ozark Folk Center during the Arkansas Folk Festival in Mountain View on Saturday, April 15. The concert is a fundraiser sponsored by the Committee of One Hundred to raise funds for the Music Roots Program for youth in Mountain View Public Schools. Music Roots provides free music lessons and loaned instruments for students beginning in 4th grade.
