The Fleet Reserve Association Branch 251 meeting is set for Saturday February 17, 2024, at American Legion Post 52, 717 Market Street, Mountain Home. Bring your bag/box lunch for Noon Social at the Post Auxiliary Room.

The Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Twin Lakes Unit 30 will be meeting on Wednesday February 21, 2024. The location will be the Heinz-Willett Wellness Center at Good Samaritan Campus, 300 Good Samaritan Drive, Mountain Home AR.

The 2024 Snowman Open at Big Creek Golf & Country Club has been postponed until Saturday, January 27, 2024. The starting time for the popular two-player scramble event is an 11am shotgun start. Entry fees are $20/player.

LITTLE ROCK ─ Our Blood Institute is encouraging all area residents to make blood donation a priority ahead of the upcoming frigid weather conditions to ensure patients have the lifesaving blood products they need. With blood collections already low, we are currently sending more blood to area hospitals than we are bringing in.
