NARMC Donates Equipment to HHS

Kim Rosson, Director of Marketing and Community Relations Harrison – In a significant step towards promoting healthcare education and workforce development in our community, North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) has generously donated a range of hospital equipment to Harrison High School’s new Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program. The donation includes a variety of essential medical equipment, such as Hospital beds, wheelchairs, bedside commode, walker, hampers and supplies for daily patient care.

Donate Blood this Summer

Summer is the time to give back to those who need blood most in order to combat the reduction in donations that comes during these warmer months. The Armed Services Blood Program is urging donors to step up and donate blood this summer.

Last week we completed another successful Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic, with approximately 120 sterilization surgeries performed. This clinic was in memory of Mary Vavruska, who was an avid supporter of the Shelter and who passed away several weeks ago.
