International Potluck

Interact had an International Potluck to promote international understanding within Flippin High School. Six dishes from six third-world countries were presented by Interact members to students and teachers. Participants voted on their favorite dishes; Pakistan came in first, Uganda in second, and Haiti in third. All proceeds from the event go to Akhuwat, a charity that alleviates poverty in economically marginalized Pakistani families through interest-free microfinance and financial education. Special thanks to our Interact Sponsor Jessica Mitchell and our Principal Coach Horn for helping make this happen.
