September 16, 2023, is the next show at the Bull Shoals Theater of the Arts. It is on Saturday night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the doors open at 6 p.m.. This is a free event will do ask for a donation at intermission to help cover the cost of the band and the facility.
Have-A-Heart Pet Shelter This week we are featuring Dino, a male Poodle mix (also known as Doodles). Dino is a medium-sized dog around 37 pounds, young (probably less than a year) and he has the cutest whiskery face.
Today, in partnership with Baxter Health, the first students at Cotter High School received their White Coats! The White Coat Program is an intensive internship program. Tobias Pugsley, VP of Marketing and Communications encouraged these students to “Be curious and get out of your comfort zone” as they experience different careers through Baxter Health.

Fall is a great time to plant trees in the landscape. The soil is warm and air temperatures are generally cooler, creating a better environment for the tree and the gardener doing the planting. The cooler temperatures promote root growth which helps the tree establish a more robust root system before new growth begins the following spring.

Yellville - Marion County 4-H members participated in 4-H State O’Rama on the campus of University of Arkansas in July along with more than 300 youth, county staff and volunteers from 51 of the 75 Arkansas counties. This was the first in-person State O’Rama since 2019, according to Marion County Extension 4-H Agent Billie Collins.
