Richard Lynn Merriman, age 68, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 18, 2024. Richard was born August 7, 1955, in Marion County Arkansas to Joe Franklin and Mary (King) Merriman. A lifetime resident of the area, he drove a dump truck for Marion County Road Department and drove a school bus for the Lead Hill School District for 30 plus years. He liked to play bass guitar.

He loved his family and was best known for his coon hunting and walker dogs.

Mr. Merriman is survived by his son, Trent Merriman of Yellville; daughter, Tanner Merriman of Clarksville, Texas; brother, Jerry Merriman (Debbie) of Yellville; sister, Leigha Rogers (Terry) of Yellville; Dean Sartin (Carl) of Fifty-Six; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Elaine Sasser, Mary Jo Akins; brother, Danny Merriman, and one grandchild. Arrangements by Roller-Burns Funeral Home are private.
