The 56th Super Bowl will be played Sunday, February 13, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles at 5:30 p.m. Super Bowl LVI will feature the Los Angeles Rams versus the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cheek named to the West All-Star team
The Arkansas Activities Association announced the Fall All-Stars for Football, Volleyball, Cheer and Dance, and more fall sports. Kate Cheek was named to the West All-Star team and is scheduled to play in the All-Star Game during the early Summer Break.
YS splits games at Alpena
The Yellville-Summit Panthers traveled to challenge the Alpena Leopards on Tuesday, January 25. The games began with the Junior boys contest and continued with the Senior girls and ended with the Senior boys.
NFL Divisional Round results
The National Football League started play for the divisional round of the playoffs Saturday, January 22. The Cincinnati Bengals traveled to play the Tennessee Titans.
Yellville-Summit 2022 Panther Basketball Homecoming Court

On Saturday, January 15, the National Football League opened the playoffs for the 2021-22 football season. The playoff weekend started with the Las Vegas Raiders traveling to play the Cincinnati Bengals.
Hopson signs with Lyon College to play VB
On Wednesday, Jan 5, 2022, at 12 p.m., Flippin High School held a ceremony in honor of Senior, Madi Hopson and her acceptance of scholarships in both volleyball and academics to Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas.

Bears play for the NAC Championship to ring in the New Year
The North Arkansas College Invitational Tournament began on nine games on the schedule on Monday, December 27, at Pioneer Pavilion in Harrison. Among the teams playing was Western Grove, Norfork, Cotter, Deer, Marshall and Valley Springs.
NFL loses an Icon
In a week that the nation lost several notable people, John Madden and Dan Reeves died sending the National Football League, the National Football Hall of Fame and fans everywhere into mourning. John Madden was a legendary football coach for the Oakland Raiders in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.
