Albert Choate of Harrison

Albert “AL” Dee Wallace Choate, 74, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on June 5, 2025, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. Al was born on March 27, 1951, in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of Marshall and Mary Pauline (Coleman) Choate. Al was a big ole teddy bear that loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. He would drop whatever he was doing to help them out. He had a sidekick named Chico, his rat terrier/chihuahua mixed little buddy. Chico followed him everywhere. Al went to high school at Harrison; he was a big star football player.

Phyllis Burleson of Mountain Home

Phyllis Ann (Rea) Burleson, 79, of Mountain Home, passed away on May 16, 2025. Phyllis was born on November 3, 1945, in Little Rock, to Chester Frank “Tank” Rea and Billie Ruth (Phillips) Rea. A lifelong Arkansan, she met and married her husband of 59 years, Bill Burleson in Yellville, on October 22, 1964.
