The 44th Annual March for Life, sponsored by Arkansas Right to Life, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 16, in Little Rock. The march marks the 49th anniversary of the January 22, 1973, Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the United States.
Mountain Home, AR– Today Robert “Bob” Lowery, former district court judge and Baxter County Justice of the Peace, announced his candidacy for the open seat of District Judge for the Tenth District. The 10th Judicial District covers Baxter and Marion counties. He released the following statement:

The Yellville City Council, along with Mayor Shawn Lane, worked diligently at its first meeting of the year to cover certain matters effecting the city throughout the year. First to be accepted by council members Lorna Goodwin, Vickie Fogerty, Layton Lee and Clark Gustin was the adoption of the rules and procedures for each meeting, stating meetings would continue the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m.

Crowley earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University. She has been a nurse practitioner for more than two years and has experience in family medicine, home health and intensive care.
