Public Works issues dominated the March 2, 2022, Bull Shoals City Council meeting, which was rescheduled due to the sleet storm from February 24. Public Works Director Shane O’Grady said in his report the Department’s vehicle situation is dire, with Mayor David Nixon agreeing.
TMarch 2, 2022 – As of today, there just 45 active COVID-19 cases in Baxter County. There are currently 6 COVID-19 patients admitted at Baxter Regional, with 4 in ICU and 2 on ventilators.
To continue serving our community throughout this pandemic, we are now offering Covid testing throughout our NARMC clinics. Construction of our new Medical Plaza on Highway 65 North will begin within the month; therefore, we will be closing our Viral Screening Clinic beginning Friday, March 11.
Marion County Government has faced much turmoil over the past few years. The offices of the County are unable to work together effectively. County Offices face tremendous difficulty hiring, training, and retaining staff. Not only does our County Government need change, but it also needs experienced leadership to drive that change.
