Moorea Dippel, PA-C Joins Washington Regional Brain and Spine Surgery Clinic

Fayetteville — Moorea Dippel, PA-C, recently joined the Washington Regional Brain and Spine Surgery Clinic, part of the Washington Regional J.B. Hunt Transport Services Neuroscience Institute, where she provides care for patients in the clinic and hospital setting. Dippel earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Veterinary Science from Clemson University. She started her medical career serving as a certified nursing assistant and has a multitude of medical experiences from her clinical training. She is new to Northwest Arkansas and is eager to serve the community.

Baxter Regional Medical Center Updates COVID-19 Screening Procedures

Mountain Home, AR - Effective May 1, 2022, Baxter Regional Medical Center will change its procedure involving entry screening at the Hospital’s main campus. According to the CDC, hospitals are still required to screen all entrants into the hospital, however, unmanned electronic screening is allowed. Baxter Regional’s three main entrances and employee entrances are already equipped with electronic screening devices, making the transition to unmanned screening possible without disruption.

Linda Chris Smith Gifts $50,000 to MCCCP

In loving memory of her husband, Christopher Frederick Smith, Linda Chris Smith, and Family have donated $50,000.00 to the Marion County Community Center Project. Ms. Linda presented the check to Marion County Judge John Massey to pass on to Marion County Community Services, Inc. She was inspired to donate to the community center project following a discussion with Judge Massey in which he indicated his full support for the local effort.

Everyone that is registered to vote in Marion County should be receiving a new Voter ID Card in the mail. Due to the 2020 census, every county in Arkansas partook in a redistricting process causing changes to some of the voting districts. If you receive an ID Card and your information is correct, there is no need to do anything further. If your information is NOT correct, please contact the Marion County Clerk’s Office by phone 870-449-6226 or in person at 300 E. Old Main in Yellville.
