The women of Mountain Home Moose Lodge will hold a pot roast dinner fundraiser on Friday, September 9 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The menu includes scrumptious pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggie, roll, dessert and a beverage.

Peggy Mason has been hired by CherryRoad Media to work at the Mountaineer Echo (ME) as a Part-Time Reporter and Photographer. Mason has been working as a stringer or freelance reporter and photographer for the past 14 months and was the photographer for the award-winning front page photo that won the Mountaineer Echo the award for Best Front Page at the Arkansas Press Association awards ceremony in June.
