Dustin Beals, USMC Dustin Beals served 4-years in the United States Marine Corp and is the Post #61 American Legion Commander in Yellville. Dustin has served as a Marion County Deputy and is currently serving on the Flippin City Police Department.

Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 will hold its monthly all-u-can-eat fried fish and shrimp dinner Friday, July 7 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Guests may order fried fish, fried shrimp or a combination plate which also includes hushpuppies, French fries, coleslaw, vegetable, roll, dessert and a beverage.

Storms raced across Marion County Saturday and pictured here is a fallen tree snapping power lines. The power lines lay across Hwy. 14 North of Sailor Hollow Terrace. Entergy was enroute to restore power and clear the scene.
