Terrol Wang of Texas

Terrol (Terry) Howard Wang, 81, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at home, surrounded by family. He was the widower of Viola Irene Wang. They shared 40 years of marriage together. Terry was born in Rockford, Illinois, on January 23, 1943. He is the son of Peter Howard Wang and Bernice E. Heise Wang and the brother of Richard Wang (deceased), Larry Wang (deceased), and Janice Wang Morris (Rockford, IL).

He was a ROTC member and graduate of West High School in 1961. Shortly after graduating, he continued working as a mechanic for a local automotive shop. Later in life, he was employed at International Milling, RC Cola, and Clark’s Oil as a respected, knowledgeable, and dependable employee. The highlight of his career was owning and operating Wang’s Repair after moving to Yellville in 1990.

Outside his occupation, Terry enjoyed volunteering for the Ralph-Caney Fire Department, rebuilding cars and houses, and his passion for creating digital art. In 2022, Terry moved to Texas which became his final resting place. He will be remembered for his strong will, kind heart, hard work, and methodical thinking.

He is survived by his sons and daughter: Scott H. and wife Stacey Wang (Channelview, Texas), Tye L. Wang (Burleson, Texas), Joseph E. and wife Debra Williamson (Rockford, Illinois), Kimberly S. Wang Corey and husband Michael Corey (Rockford, Illinois), Mark E. Wang (Colorado Springs, Colorado), Matthew C. and wife Tara Williamson (Brookville, Ohio) and Brandon T. and wife Tera Zander (Burleson, Texas); many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. bmmTerry will always be LOVED but more greatly missed. Out of the respect of Terry’s wishes, there will not be any memorial services.
